 OUR STORY

It all started when we noticed a common factor amongst our family and those we cared about....and that was sensitive skin issues.

Carol (my partner & aunt), had learned how to formulate and create natural products from scratch with her mom. There was nothing they didn't try, from soaps to body butters, and even scrubs. If it sparked their interest, they tried it. But just like anything else, Carol wanted to grow in her own understanding on how to make products herself. One thing she always says is, "If I can learn to make something myself, why don't I?". So with that in mind, she did.

 

 
I (Hannah) has always struggled with dry, irritated skin, and sadly so did my siblings. But my desire for skincare did not grow until I saw that my own family couldn't enjoy pampering themselves because of the fear of what might irritate their skin next. From Eczema, Psoriasis, and even Rosacea the progression of skin concerns was too hard to ignore. In hopes of finding some product that might work for us, big brand skincare, wasn't cutting it.
So I started to question and pay more attention. What exactly was I putting on my skin every day? And why did other's skin react worse than mine?

 

That's when God stepped in. Carol one day asked me if I wanted to join her in starting a business where we could help those we love with their skin. You could already guess what I said...and H&C Bath Luxuries was born!
